Register with Colchester Thunder

Colchester Thunder is a mixed gender touch rugby team, open to players of all abilities. We are a welcoming and inclusive team, supporting players both on and off the pitch.

You'll be asked to fil out this registration form after a 4 week trial period, and officially become a Thunder member.

Annual membership is £120 for the year (+ transaction fees).
The club is committed to making participation accessible to everyone. Your membership can be paid in a single payment, or installments over 4 months from the time you register.

Alongside full membership, we will offer a £60 subsidised membership aimed a students or those with limited income. Fully subsidised memberships are also available to choose from with the help of funding from our sponsors. No questions asked, but a member of the committee may reach out to you to ask if there is anything else we can do to make rugby more accessible to you.

Support funds are available for players who may need assistance during the season. If any cost is a concern, please contact a committee member in confidence.

Availability and Communication

We use the Spond app to manage session information and player availability. Downloading and using the app is mandatory, as availability responses are essential for planning training and matches. Full instructions will be provided after registration.

The club also uses a shared WhatsApp Community with Colchester Kings RFC for general updates and social communication. Players will be added once registered.
